Wanda Ruth (Todd) Scott, 92, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray.
Born January 28, 1934, in Murray, Kentucky, Wanda was the daughter of the late Kenneth “Kennie” Todd and Cleo Hazel (Camp) Todd. She devoted much of her life to caring for others as a homemaker and caregiver. Wanda was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Murray.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Terry Michael Scott of Murray; brother, Danny Ray Todd (Virginia) of Murray; sisters, Hazel Pogue (Frank) and Annette Coles, both of Murray; grandchildren, Christy Seavers, Chad Hughes and Kim Houston (fiancé Jared), all of Murray; great-grandchildren, Blake Seavers, Trevor Donelson, Michael Houston (Elisha), Tyler Houston (Brittany), Cody Houston, Ava Hughes and Chandler Hughes; and great-great-grandchildren, Isaiah Houston, Mason Dean Houston, Daniel Houston, Emery Houston, Reagan Houston and Ronin Houston. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Elvin Scott; her daughter, Deborah Lynn Collie; sisters, Charlene Todd, Evelyn Wrye, and Mary Frances Thomas (Tommy); brother, Kenneth G. Todd; brother-in-law, Bobby Coles; grandson, Blaine Donelson, Jr.; and niece, Kimberly Michelle Pogue.
A service celebrating Wanda’s life will be held Monday, October 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, with Rev. Kim Reeder officiating and Chad Hughes, Trevor Donelson, Michael Houston, Tyler Houston and Chandler Hughes serving as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Murray City Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. at Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 South 4th Street, Murray, Kentucky.
