Mr. Kyrile D. Catlett, age 67, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Catlett was born on July 1, 1959, in San Pedro, California to the late George E. Catlett and Yvonne (Skinner) Catlett. He retired from Mattel, Inc. in Murray, Kentucky, served in the Army National Guard where he was discharged as a Captain, and was a member of the Cherry Corner Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Delores McClaurin.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri Catlett of Murray, Kentucky; they married on June 28, 1996, in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Sara Garrett and husband Levi of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Darrius Catlett and Adam Scott and wife Whitney all of Murray, Kentucky; four sisters, Kim Catlett of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and Jacksonville, Florida, Karlesta Mitchell of Jacksonville, Florida, Karissa Ennis of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Kaptoria Sanders of Manassas, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Greyson Catlett, Zavien Catlett, Aaliyah Catlett, Sabree Ballard, Layna Scott, Nora Scott, Ryder Scott, Levi Scott, Fiona Scott, and Samuel Scott.
A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The American Legion Post #73 will perform full military honors at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
